Starting from a 1960s flat in a dilapidated state, Alberto and Cristina have succeeded in creating a contemporary ambience in which the intervention allows us to intuit the soul of the original space.
The concrete structure of the ceiling was recovered, the original sweet chestnut wood doors were restored, and the wooden gallery was reconstructed with the original quartering. From then on, the new materials are almost exclusively solid sweet chestnut wood and lime plaster. In the bathroom, the sweet chestnut wood floor is accompanied by an hexagonal stoneware tiling, and in the kitchen the sweet chestnut woodwork is combined with a carrara marble worktop.
