Project description

Acouga is a hotel full of history, a space where guests seek rest and peace within its walls. Its restoration was meticulous and respectful of the origins of the construction and also its historical surroundings.

The use of noble and sustainable materials like wood has been a priority throughout the renovation. All the coverings are made of chestnut wood, a material with a negative carbon footprint. In addition to being durable and resistant, its nobility enhances the spaces with its unparalleled finish.

Lighting and detail have been carefully considered in every piece of furniture. They drew inspiration from the history of the building and executed it with solid chestnut wood. They have created a relaxing and warm atmosphere enhanced by both direct and indirect lighting.
