Dentalnova – oral and dental health space

The Dentalnova dental clinic has been transformed into an innovative space that transcends its healthcare function to become a welcoming space. With the help of Mola Arquitectura and our collaboration. The project has opted for an architecture based on recovery, sustainability and sensitivity towards the legacy of the original space.

Recovering the soul of the place through design and wood

From the beginning, the refurbishment was conceived as an intervention that respected the pre-existing premises. Each construction element and piece of furniture has been custom-designed, taking into account both the historical value of the building and the demands of excellence, safety and comfort that define Dentalnova’s philosophy.

The materials choice was a statement of principle. Among them, local pine wood has played a leading role, as a natural proximity resource, a warm, versatile material committed to bio-construction.

Siero Lam: functionality, aesthetics and sustainability

For this intervention, Siero Lam has provided both glulam boards and laminated pine profiles, applied in multiple layers of the project:

• Cladding and exterior carpentry: resolved with laminated wood profiles with pigmented lasurado finish for exteriors and transparent matt finish.
• Cabinets: designed from a system of repetitive pine slats, which act as dynamic privacy filters.
• Bespoke furniture: from counters to benches and shelving, all made from laminated Siero Lam pine slatted board.
• Flooring and cladding: in the living area, pine boarding was used to reinforce the connection between naturalness and wellbeing.

Architecture with an ecological vocation

The project has integrated other equally responsible decisions, such as the use of stone, natural light and vegetation articulated around the rear courtyard, to reinforce the relationship with the environment. Together, these materials make up an environmentally conscious and sensitive palette, reinforcing the humanistic character of the project.
