Characteristics of the wood
The chestnut varies from yellowish white to pale brown. The grain is slightly wavy and it has a coarse texture. The rays form an attractive pattern in the tangential cuts. This wood is easy to work, stable and by nature very durable.

Density: 540-650 Kg/m3.

Principal applications
Furniture making, carpentry, cabinet-making and standard and rustic decorative veneers.
